The Challenge

There was a clear gap in the market for performance footwear tailored specifically to women and girl volleyball athletes. Existing products overlooked their unique needs, such as the demands of the game—extended time on the toes, frequent jumping, cutting, and diving—and the need for a fit optimized for women’s physiology. Avoli sought to create innovative footwear that respected and empowered these athletes, keeping them performing at their best.

How We Helped

We began by designing Avoli’s debut shoe, the VOL I, addressing critical performance needs with specialized cushioning, a fit tailored to reduce slippage and injury, and innovative “VoliVents” technology for ventilation during extended play. Building on the success of the VOL I, we expanded the line to include the VOL II Mid, a performance slide, and a full range of colorways and stories. Every detail—from construction to aesthetics—was crafted with precision to reflect Avoli’s commitment to innovation and the unique demands of volleyball athletes.

“Why is it so hard to find shoes made for the sport I play?”

Designed for athletes seeking extra ankle support, the Avoli Vol II Mid builds on the innovations of the Vol I Low. With the same VoliVent active venting system, OctoLug traction, and VoliCush cushioning, the Vol II Mid delivers enhanced stability for lateral movements and repeated landings. You asked, we delivered—a shoe made to keep you confident on the court.
